Use Case

Vecteur Plus specializes in public contracts. Their Quoteasy software is an easy tool to fill in official documents.

Visit https://www.vecteurplus.com/

Spigao specializes in construction industries and includes the search for call for bids.

With Vecteur Plus and Spigao, the BoQ is outside QDV7. The 'Has_Reference_in_Boq' field is still usable.

BIMetre and Revit specialize in Building Information Model.

Vecteur Plus / Spigao

As of Quoteasy, ask Vecteur Plus for subscription.

This is subject to a security setting (Partner Applications). Refer to User Profiles.

Select Automation>Partner Applications>Vecteur Plus / Spigao > Import from Vecteur Plus / Spigao.

Process in QDV7. A Spigao Index column can be inserted into the WBS.

In QDV7, a Spigao project is identified by two variables:

GLV_SPIGAO_Project_Id

GLV_SPIGAO_Deal_Id.

NOTE Under Spigao, level #1 is for branches dedicated to providing special prices to customer documents; these prices are not taken into account in the overall price. When there are several such branches, they show in QDV7 on level #2.

Select Automation>Partner Applications>Vecteur Plus / Spigao > Export to Vecteur Plus / Spigao.

This can be automated with an Excel macro.

BIMetre

IMPORT

1.Open an estimate with an overhead and/or free fields of interest (Refer to SEARCH ENGINE for Estimates)

2.Select Automation>Partner Applications>BIMetre>Import from BIMetre

3.Select a bimetre file, such as the one in <Installation directory>/QDV 7/Samples/BIMetre and follow the instructions: the WBS and the Minutes are replaced; the Family field takes the Info BIMetre value.

EXPORT

You can export the database of the estimate or the WBS.

Once the WBS is exported, you can use it in a CAD tool such as ATTIC to supplement the WBS with data coming from a database. Visit https://www.attic-plus.fr/

Revit

INSTALLATION

Revit 2017 or later

Folder location: C:\Users\<USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\XXXX

where XXXX is the year of your version.

Paste there the entire content of current folder.

After installation, a QDV button shows in the add-in tab of Revit.

USE

Under Revit, go to the Schedule branch of a project and name some columns as qdv_qty, qdv_title and optionally qdv_descr which stand respectively for Quantity, Reference and Description.

In such a schedule table, click the QDV button to copy the entire data.

Under QDV7, paste to the Minutes view to get data from Revit.
