Building the Report

In the report, QDV7 includes, by default, only the rows with non-null cost (generally Minutes with non-null quantity) OR adding a value to the sum of a numeric free column.

In Edit mode of the Reporting tab, select the IDIQ Contracts type. The Report shows with the latest profile of this type (the profile path shows between parentheses in the title of the window).

The Report shows and can be edited like the other types of Reports.

The sets show as groups if the setting of the set database path is marked for this. Refer to Prefixes.

Setting Up the Report

In Edit mode, you can reverse several toggles.

If nsertion to the Minutes view, checking the Hide/Show>Minutes box is mandatory (except for Market Coefficients in Minutes' View).

**included in Report Profiles

After a change in configuration, click Compute All. If rows are missing, reload the profile (menu Load Report>Browse).

You can insert WBS columns (for example, Market Coefficients) or Minutes and special columns.

WORKAROUND to show comments from the Minutes' view and still be able to classify the report rows:

1.In the Fields Manager, create a numeric free field, with a formula IF([Description]<>"",1,0) and with a Show in totals attribute set to Sum

2.In the Minutes' view, insert the related column and assign at least any numeric value

3.In the report, in edit mode, insert the related column

4.To hide it, right-click, select Width of column and set it to 0.

Notes:

- These comments are in the Description column, not in the extra column

- The formula is required to have the Sum value available as a Show in totals attribute; the formula in step 1 populates the whole column, hence does not exclude the null cost rows

- This workaround works also with WBS tasks by using the WBS Fields Manager and in the report, Insert a column from the extended WBS.

The insertion of new columns is described in Reports. The 'Line Selling Price (EUR) grouped' field allows you to compensate missing sub-total rows.
