Converting a workbook into an estimate

In each sheet, each column is assigned either to a template WBS field or to a template Minutes field. This creates the estimate core.

How to map rows in a structure

Set the level by entering X in a column 1 ... 7. Refer to Conversion of a BoQ into an Estimate.

How to exclude rows

Select in column A the cell of rows to exempt and click Mapping>Exclude Row.

Mapping links to the Bill of Quantities

Check the box Add WBS To BoQ Ref (below the WBS field list); this will be used to export the estimate values to this BoQ column.

Links are stored with the mapping.

The estimate keeps the correspondence between the linked columns of the BoQ and WBS.
